The new Model 3541, successor to the existing Model 3227 that offers low resistance measurements, is now available. With Model 3541, the smallest resolution has been improved by 100 times to 0.1?-ohm, and the measurement range been largely expanded to up to 110.000M-ohm. Also, the sampling speed has been significantly increased from 90 times/second to 1670 times/second, and the basic precision has also been raised by about 10 times. Furthermore, Model 3541 now comes with a self-calibration function, offset voltage compensation function, and measurement fault detection function, making stable measurement at high speed and high precision possible.
Along with capabilities for fast, precise measurements over a broad resistance range, Model 3541 also provides functions for temperature correction, comparator and data I/O. Employing a four-terminal measurement method, this instrument is particularly suitable for measuring the resistance of motor and transformer windings, relay/switch and connector contacts, PCB patterns, chip inductor DC resistance and in shipping inspection tests.
